The funding announced at the 2007 Liquor Accords Conference is now available for Liquor Accord groups seeking sponsorship for promotion or education initiatives.
How to apply
1. Prepare a detailed proposal that includes:
- Name of Accord and a list of members
- Contact person for the proposal
- Advise if you are seeking funding from other sources
- Attach quotes to verify costs
- Attached mock-ups of artwork
- Set out a clear description of your project including its aims and objectives
- Explain the benefit. Include details of people and organisations involved and how it will benefit the local community.
- Is the project connected in any way to other State or Local Government organisations?
- Does the project have community support?
- What is the life of the project - when will it start and end?
- Provide details of the capacity of the Liquor Accord to undertake the project in a competent manner - how will it be managed, financial management, people resources, approvals, etc?
- Are there any similar projects that can be linked in - or explain how your project overcomes duplication issues.
- Include a budget outlining total costs and how the costs will be met.
- Explain what you will do to acknowledge the sponsorship if successful.
