Blue Card requirement for underage/all ages events on licensed premises.
Recent amendments to the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000, directly impact on the hospitality industry in relation to conducting " underage" and "all ages" events on licensed premises.
The amendments require management and staff working at underage/all ages events on licensed premises to hold "Blue Cards". Event organisers are also required to develop and implement a risk management strategy for these events.
